99 summoning yes/no?~?~?

im am considering 99 summoning, i have read many guides and figured im only going to spend around 50 mill i really like the skill and set small goals as monsters i would like to summon. my question is is it worth getting 99 summoning or should i use it on something else???

also... what would be fastest way to get charms??? setting up a cannon near ice warriors or fighting them?

I think you can do it if you keep your mind to it and make a ton of money. good luck =] I don't really do summoning so i don't know the best monster,

Good luck! I spent 10m on pouches from 69-80, so good luck with spending 50m.

Also, good luck getting enough charms without ice bursting/barraging, which also costs money. I spent 10m on barrages for 69-80 charms NOT COUNTING the 1k gold, 1k green, 2k crimsons i already had in the bank.

if you like the skill then go for it
but gold charms to 99 is not very good

It seems like you think you can just buy 99 summoning with money. This isn't the case, you need to get charms which are untradable. Trying to buy summoning with barraging/soul wars COMPLETLEY destroys the point of the whole skill. If you were logical you would do slayer to get charms. If you were going to camp something, it would be waterfiends but you'd need a combat level of 115+ to be efficient at it.

So I say no, don't have the mentality that you are just going to buy 99 summoning because that is incredibly unrealistic. 50m won't even pay for the shards and secondaries let alone runes for ice barrages/prayer pots for waterfiends. Just do slayer and you will eventually reach your goal and maybe even get 3-4 other 99s on the way there.

just train slayer and summoning will come along...you'll probally get couple 99s in melee and high slayer and with that will come summon

well from 16 to 52 ima do rock crabs then at 52 spirit terror birds do them until 66 then do barker toads till 99 =P[/color]

thats what ive been trying to figure out i bought a cannon with 5k cannon balls but dont really no where to put it, any suggestions? maybe the dungeon under the lighthouse...

Well If you are just going for straight out charms you'll want Crimson Charm dropping monsters. The best ones for these would be Waterfiends, Nechrael, and Greater Demons. All of these require a high combat lvl.

Also, using a cannon isn't exactly a good method to be using if you have 50m, considering that the shards will cost you an unbelievable amount.

you can try veracing giant rock crabs, they drop 10 gold charms at a time, and they're quite common

you could buy more than 1 99 with 50 mil.
you could get 99 cooking, fletching, and firemaking.
