I follow you up till the TV. I'm not sure what the requirements of that would be, or if anything USB 2.0 compatible would work. It would likely depend on the TV, so without more information I can't give much guidance.
Tigerdirect has a
2TB HDD for $119.99 today that has USB 2.0 and eSata connectors. I've got one of the Fantom drives, and it contains a Western Digital drive inside, for whatever that's worth. There might be a specific size that the TV won't work past, so I wouldn't necessarily buy the 2TB drive without verifying the 2TB drive would work with the TV.
