Check here for all new info and announcementsWhat are the games?In the spirit of the Olympics, we have decided to have our own games that will run for two weeks beginning at the end of July. They will be a variety of events ranging from Runescape events to Xbox and PC events. Here is a list of the events.
KEYSingle EventsTeam EventsTeam Dungeoneering Race- Teams will start at the same time and make their way through a Large Dungeon set on difficulty depending on the team size. First team to finish wins.
Singles Dungeoneering Race- A competitor from each team will make their way through a medium sized dungeon, the team with the fastest time wins.
Daily Skill Competition- Each day there will be a different skill selected, and the team's gains of experience in that skill will be totaled. The team with the most experience for the day wins that day. The gold medal will be given to the team with the most days won.
Total Skill Competition- The total gains of experience by the team members throughout the games will be totaled. The team that gained the most experience over the course of the games will win.
Solo Bossing- A single member from each team will fight a boss selected by the judges. The boss will be the same for all competitors, barring a handicap. The person with the best time wins.
Team Bossing- The whole team will fight a boss selected by the judges. The team with the best time will win.
Amazing Race- A footrace across a selected area of Runescape, the first one to the finish line wins.
Fight Pits- A competitor from each team will be pitted against all the rest in the Fight Pits mini-game.
Farming Competition- A member from each team will send someone to grow the most crops they can in 1 plot. The crop will be selected by the judges. The person with the greatest harvest will win.
Tournament Duel Arena (Bracket Fights)- A member from each team will be in a 1 vs. 1 fight against another team in a bracket competition, single/double elimination.
Mobilising Armies- A member from each team will face another team in the Mobilising Armies mini-game, in a bracket competition.
Games Room Tournament- Teams will send one member to play in the games room. The person with the most wins in a single type of game will be the game winner, the gold medal being given to whomever wins the most game types.
Costume Contest- Display your best fashion sense in a costume contest. Each team will send one member to be judged by a panel. The one with the best costume wins.
Barrows Competition- One member from each team will compete to see who can gain the most gold from the Barrows mini-game in 2 hours.
Best Item From Lumbridge- A competitor from each team will attempt to create the best item they can from resources found only in Lumbridge and the surrounding area.
Skullball Race- A member from each team will attempt to complete 3 laps around the skullball course. First one to the finish wins.
Agility Course Race- Each team will send a competitor to race around a agility course (wilderness included
) for a pre-decided number of laps.
Hide And Seek- Staff members will hide in an area of Runescape for teams to hunt and find. The winners will be the team that finds the most staff members.
House Contest- One person from each team will fix up their house to be judged by a panel of staff members. The person with the best looking house wins.
Pan-Runescape Hunt- Staff members will hide across the entire Runescape map for teams to track down based on clues left by the hiders.
Tears Of Guthix Competition- Each team will have one person collect as many tears as they can from the Tears of Guthix mini-game. The person with the most tears wins (Guthix tears, not real ones).
Runescape Trivia- Teams will be quizzed on their knowledge of Runescape history, both game and lore in a trivia competition.
Barbarian Assault- Teams will compete to complete all the waves of the Barbarian Assault mini-game. The winners will be the team who completes the game the fastest.
One Small Favour- A staff member will be requesting a certain item or task done for them. You may find that these requests start to stack up fast though.
Agility Pyramid- A competitor from each team will race up the agility pyramid to see who can complete the most laps in a pre-determined amount of time.
Ali Casket Competition- A member from each team will see who can open a casket from Ali (Rouge Trader mini-game) the fastest.
Halo Free-for-all- Each team will send one person to compete against the other team's competitors in a free-for-all competition in Halo (3 or Reach, Poll coming soon).
Halo Team Deathmatch- Teams will face off against one another in Halo (see above) in a bracket competition.
COD Team Deathmatch- Teams will face off against one another in a Call of Duty game (MW2, MW3, Black Ops- Poll coming soon).
COD Free-for-all- A competitor from each team will face the rest in a free-for-all competition in a Call of Duty game (See above).
Counter-strike Source: Gungame- Teams and single competitors will face each-other in Counter-Strike Source.
Half-life 2 Team Deathmatch- Teams will face each other in a bracket competition in the Half-Life 2 game.
Team Fortress 2- Teams will face off against one another in Team Fortress 2, in a bracket style competition.
Minecraft Building Contest- Teams will have 48 Hours to construct the best structure they can in Minecraft.
Art Competition- Teams can submit their best works they make at home to be judged by staff members for medals.
Pan-Runescape Relay- A footrace across the entire map of Runescape, covering every major area and land. The first person across the finish line wins.
Bonfire Last Man Standing- Two competitors from each team will race to keep a bonfire going the longest, without any pause other than immediate re-lighting. The team who keeps it going the longest wins.
Fish Flinging- Teams will compete in the Fish Flinging mini-game, and try to catch the biggest fish. Whoever wins the game, their team will get the win. May go for multiple rounds.
When are the games?The games will take place from the 27th of July to the 12th of August
