Ive found that using Windows Client gets people hacked more often...

When i first started Playing RS, i used the windows client....

Like 5 weeks after i got the client, i got hacked....

Since then, i havent used the client and i have yet to get hacked

Shouldn't accept any sort of files, you should always use On screen keyboard, and have a firewall and good anti spywear device on your comp :wink:

Also try to not add any rs friends on msn. Well those are my tips, you should probably have your comp re formatted as you will have a keylogger on it :cry:

Anyways, i dont think that the hacker will confess now lol

my comp is safe now, but i think swift switch was what did the trick, and it seemed soo nice, all well, o and lewent thanks for offering to help but i can chop my way back too glory :lol:

ps. is firefox safe, well probly yes, profeesinals use it, mabye ill try it, as long it dosnt take as much room on the browser as swift switch

no browser is safe, it's just safer than the others,

try to get firewall and many protective system, there is threads in tech talk about those programs

by the way.. professional doesn't use firefox, the nerd group does

wow, my friends have been getting hacked too... i lost 2 cannons already in 3 weeks and bought another one... and i had 2 full sets of full rune and now only 1... and my rune warhammer and granite and scimmies dissapeared... strange... if i get lucky while raising strength ill help u... ps.. futures rock! RSBANB IS STILL BETTER! IT SHOULD BE A CLAN!

if you are using swiftswitch, that is the main source of disappearing items. someone is pilfering items little by little.
